NickServ

NickServ is the network service responsible for keeping track of who nicknames belong to.

Before you can register channels with Chanserv or send memos with MemoServ, you will need a registered nickname. Some channel modes will also prevent unregistered nicknames from joining or communicating in a channel.

Users are encouraged to make use of the NickServ HELP command by typing the following syntax:

/msg NickServ HELP
